The fight to restore colour goes galactic in the latest trailer for the much anticipated sequel...

2008's de Blob was one of the year's most interesting highlights. Relatively small Australian studio Blue Tongue put out a very well put-together, colourful platformer that provided pleasant surprises both in terms of quality and commercial success.

Luckily for us, the developer has returned for an all new follow-up, de Blob: The Underground, scheduled to release next year. The sequel looks to keep the original's general concept of large-scale, sandbox platforming, while adding in a whole load of bright and wacky new ideas.

de Blob: The Underground is due to be rolled out early next year on *deep breath* Wii, DS, 3DS, PS3 and Xbox 360.
