Despite its fairly cult status, Capcom surprised us all earlier this year when they announced the existence of a DS sequel to Okami. Set three months after the events of the original Okamiden sees players return to Nippon; this time taking control of cutely diminutive hero going by the name of Chibiterasu.

Okamiden is currently due for a release in Japan some time next year.
