5th Cell are putting the final touches on Super Scribblenauts, due for release in a few months, and has released a new trailer to coincide with Gamescom. The game promises improved controls, hundreds of new words and countless puzzles to solve.
The biggest change from the first title is players can now use adjectives to change the colour, size, style, behaviours and many other aspects of the object they are describing. In addition to this multiple adjectives can be used to create objects such as gentlemanly, flaming, flying zombies and purple, obese, winged elephants.
We were fortunate enough to get our hands on Super Scribblenauts recently and the adjectives certainly do add a new depth to the game. The puzzles we encountered were also challenging and it seems that the game will be a great improvement on the popular original. We also learned that Nathan is not against using a machete to get to the front of the queue, so be warned if you ever see him!
