Listen to PLAY! A Video Game Symphony perform a Metroid arrangement.

As the Metroid franchise turns 25 in August PLAY! A Video Game Symphony honoured the occasion by playing an arrangement based on the franchise during their recent performances in Benaroya Hall, Seattle. Shinesparkers asked attendee Nathaniel Tabit from Metroid Headquarters to record the performance and you can now view it online.

Fans of the series are sure to enjoy the performance, which can be seen below, as it provides a full orchestral version of some of the series' iconic music. Unfortunately the symphony is not due to come to Europe any time soon but for more information about it check out the official website.
