Pokémon Rumble Blast is heading to North America later this year. Check out the first English trailer inside!

The first full 3DS Pokémon game is heading to western retail later this year. Pokemon Rumble Blast - announced last month as Super Pokémon Scramble - as been confirmed for a North American release on October 24th.

As you may have guessed from the title, the game continues the style of gameplay introduced in the 2009 WiiWare release Pokémon Rumble. You take control of a diminutive toy Pokémon and fight through waves of creatures in frantic, real-time battles.

Wireless multiplayer lets you team up with a friend in co-op play, while the game also utilises StreetPass to simulate more subtle challenges among nearby players. All the new Pokémon from Black and White are included, taking the roster to an impressive 600+.

Pokémon Rumble Blast hasn't been confirmed for a European release, but we can hopefully expect it at the end of the year.
