Fans of the Rayman series will undoubtedly be looking forward to series returning to its platforming roots with Rayman Origins, due out later in the year. The game gives you and friends the chance to play together as a number of characters from the Rayman world, complete with the series' trademark humour.

We recently gave you hands on impressions of the title in which we talked about our excitement for this game and our love of the visual style, so as you can imagine brand new screenshots are always welcome.

The new images show a number of the locations you will visit in Rayman Origins - from fiery pits to snowy mountains and many others in between. The game's wacky humour is also evident in the full set of images, which can be found in the game's gallery.
