After selling over a million copies worldwide, it was no surprise to anyone when Capcom announced that the on-rails survival horror game Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles will be getting a sequel on Wii. The Darkside Chronicles allows players to return to the events of Resident Evil 2 armed with an entirely new perspective. The game will also feature some entirely new scenarios not covered in previous games.

But we know that what people are really interested in is some tasty zombie guts being ripped apart by bullets, so feel free to indulge in the latest trailer (with discretion).

While The Darkside Chronicles will obviously retain the first-person viewpoint utilised with its predecessor, developer Cavia have clearly added an extra cinematic feel to the experience with jaunty camera shakes, oblique angles and visible reloads.
