A brand new trailer shown at the Tokyo Games Show provides us with more information about Sega's Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure.

Announced last month Sega's Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure mixes the rhythm and action genres in a unique manner. Playing as Raphael gamers must try and uncover the mystery surrounding Raphael's father's disappearance while stealing artwork from across Paris.

The new trailer, released during the Tokyo Games Show last week, introduces the story using anime cutscenes (which are all in Japanese) and showcases a brand new character that seems to get caught up in Raphael's storyline. In addition to this a number of musical stages are shown and the variety of challenges are clear.

Sega has already confirmed that Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure will see a Western release early next year on the Nintendo 3DS. Stay tuned for more details but for now enjoy the new trailer:
