Sega have released some new images and gameplay footage on Sonic's next DS outing Sonic Rush Adventure.

Sonic Rush Adventure is the sequel to DS game Sonic Rush, and offers more of the same with improvements. The use of both screens and the trick system is still in place.

New in this game is the ability to travel to islands on a boat. You draw your path with a stylus, get onto your jet-ski-thing and set off to your destination on a cel-shaded sea. It's a bit like Phantom Hourglass - the cut-scenes even have seagulls. Along your sea journey you avoid obstacles, hit ramps and perform tricks. Nothing like Zelda, then.
