Media: The Grinder Debut Trailer

Check out the first footage for Wii's impressive online FPS...

Just revealed earlier this week, High Voltage Software's third Wii retail gane The Grinder may be their most impressive venture yet. Clearly inspired by the critically-acclaimed Left 4 Dead, the game puts players in a world of zombies, werewolves, evil bats and all kinds of badass monstery; arms you to the teeth with guns and tells you to survive.

The Grinder fully supports 4-player online co-op, MotionPlus gameplay for close combat, and - as the developer tells us to expect - Wii Speak. If that didn't sound sweet enough, the first trailer for the game suggests a visual cue having been taken from Headstrong Games' earlier 2009 hit House of the Dead: Overkill.

The Grinder isn't due out until the end of 2010, but it's already looking highly promising. With HVS holding a strong presence at E3 next week, expect to hear more of their games very soon...
