The first Wii-specific Tomb Raider Anniversary trailer has been released, and shows off the Wii-specific "Tool Kit"...
The first trailer for the Wii version of Tomb Raider Anniversary reveals some of the Wii specific content, most notably how puzzles have changed. In the Wii version of Anniversary, you have an archaeologist's tool kit at your disposal, which lets you bash walls with pick axes, chisel away at walls, clean dirt off the walls of brushes and then rub the remaining mark onto paper, for use later in the level.
The Wii-mote lets you perform all these tasks with gestures and the pointer feature. Furthermore, the Remote is used for pulling switches, interacting with various puzzle types, completing some dot-to-dot puzzles and even drawing in sand.
For combat, the pointer deals with aiming. Flicking the Nunchuck is used for rolling and dodging, and flicking both the Nunchuck and Remote allows you to enter Adrenaline Mode (slow-motion). As with Resident Evil 4, gestures replace button presses for Quick Time Events in cutscenes (called 'super actions' in Anniversary).
The Wii version is being called the "definitive" version of the game by it's developers, and new areas have been spotted in the trailer. Check out the trailer yourself now:
