The Trauma Centre series evolves into a not so unfamiliar beast...

Atlus and Nintendo team up once again to bring Wii gamers the next step in their hospital-themed series. Trauma Team has been developed with the objective of "blowing the genre wide open", and this time around includes six professions for gamers to take on: general surgeon, diagnostician, EMT, orthopedic surgeon, endoscope technician and medical examiner.

As you can see from the first trailer, Trauma Team features a similar precision-focussed gameplay and anime style that made the Trauma Centre games cult hits.

Trauma Team is currently pencilled for a Spring 2010 release in the west.
