As Nintendo tests the boundaries of reasonableness regarding the ever-expanding spectacle of amiibo, a brand new and unexpected arrival will hit stores in November.

You've seen (and maybe were even lucky enough to find) the Yarn Yoshi amiibo. Now prepare your bodies for the monster that is Mega Yarn Yoshi. Standing tall at many inches higher than its regular counterparts, Mega Yarn Yoshi knows neither fear nor death, and has been rumoured to kill small household pets.

Mega Yarn Yoshi arrives in stores on November 27th. Indications from North America suggest it may well retail at a higher price than regular amiibo.

Nintendo also confirmed release dates for a few forthcoming Smash Bros. amiibo. R.O.B., Mr Game & Watch, Duck Hunt Duo, and the three Mii Fighter figurines will all release on September 25th. Falco will launch on November 20th.
