Last year saw Metroid fan site, Shinesparkers, release the fantastic album Harmony of a Hunter which was adored by gamers and musicians alike. The album celebrated 25 years of the Metroid series in great style, even if Nintendo weren't keen on celebrating the milestone themselves.
After the fantastic reception the original received, a sequel is on the way which boasts a whopping 39 tracks by over 30 different musicians.
Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run is as diverse an album as they come, celebrating 25 years of Metroid with music spanning from the original game all the way up to Other M and everything in between. It's also set to please any musical taste as the album features songs from many genres such as Orchestral, Metal and even Dubstep.
The album will be completely free of charge (though no doubt plenty of avid Metroid fans would pay through the roof for such majesty) and is set for release on the 17th November.
If you can't wait that long though, don't fear, as we've been provided with a preview of the album which you can find below.
Project director, Darren Kerwin, is hopeful that the N-Europe clan enjoy listening to Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run as much as him and his team enjoyed creating it.
