Fans of the cult 3DS eShop title Mighty Switch Force should be in for a treat later this month, with developer WayForward Technologies preparing to release a sequel on Nintendo's 3D handheld.

The appropriately named Mighty Switch Force 2 will arrive with some new gameplay features, most prominently the ability to use a water hose as you switch between 2D planes. New puzzle opportunities are also opened up with the added fire/water aspect.

The game releases in Europe on June 27th. Check out the launch trailer below.

Mighty Switch Force is a cracking little game, so you should seriously consider downloading it if you haven't already. It is available on the 3DS eShop, and in HD on the Wii U eShop.
