We can expect the release of Mario Sunshine in Europe to be during Christmas. Earlier it was reported that the game would be released in Summer 2002, however that period was based on rumours. David Gosen today told us when we can expect the game to be released in Europe. This is what he said:

“The reason we have not launched with a Mario title is because after talking with Miyamoto we decided to focus on Luigi’s Mansion first. And it turned out to be a good decision because it was the fastest selling title at the launch of the GameCube in the USA. Mario Sunshine we will see Q4 this year.”
