MineCraft Wii U Retail Release

MineCraft: Wii U Edition was a revelation when it was first announced, as not only did it mean that one of the worlds biggest titles would be heading to Wii U but one that’s owned by competitor Microsoft no less.

Since its December launch on the eShop, Minecraft on Wii U has sold well, regularly remaining high in the eShop charts and it just recently become even more appealing as aside from the off-TV play, MineCraft Wii U now features the Mario Mash-Up Pack, a set of skins and textures from the Mario universe exclusive to the Wii U version.

MineCraft for Wii U is set to get even bigger now, as it gets released on disc later this month on June 30th in the UK.

This retail version will have the Mario Mash-Up Pack already installed, so you can collect diamond, kill Creepers and create your perfect home dressed up as the fabulous Birdo.

New modes are also set to be released soon, including an online 8-player deathmatch, so be sure to keep an eye on MineCraft in the coming months.
