As part of a short, Capcom-themed Nintendo Direct which aired earlier today, a final Japanese release date was confirmed for the sure-fire mega-hit Monster Hunter 4.

The game will finally launch on September 14th. No western release has been announced as of yet, but the chances could certainly be worse, with the last game - Monster Hunter 3 G - having released in Europe on both 3DS and Wii U this March.

Also revealed was a pair of snazzy, Monster Hunter themed 3DS XL systems which will launch in Japan to coincide with the game.
