Monster Hunter X revealed for 3DS

Hot on the heels of the worldwide success of Monster Hunter 4, Capcom wants to expand their money pile, announcing a brand new game to release before the year's end.

Monster Hunter X is again exclusive to Nintendo 3DS, and looks to be built on the Monster Hunter 4G engine that runs so impressively on the handheld.

This time round though, there seems to be some tweaks to the action. The trailer shows some much more varied fighting moves, with an emphasis on quick, punchy combat. Monster Hunter 4 already made your hunter more acrobatic - it looks like Monster Hunter X will build even further on that.

Monster Hunter X is slated for a winter 2015 release - so far only in Japan. Check out the debut trailer below.
