Cult indie studio Renegade Kid has issued the first trailer for its upcoming 3DS title Moon Chronicles.

The game was revealed a couple of weeks ago as a ground-up remake of the studio's critically acclaimed 2009 DS shooter Moon. Moon Chronicles will be released on the 3DS eShop as an episodic title, split across four releases, with the first due this spring.

The game will run in 60 frames per-second in both 2D and 3D, and supports the Circle Pad Pro for dual analogue control.
