More amiibo figurines revealed for 2015

Nintendo has announced further waves of amiibo figurines due to launch in 2015.

The NFC-enabled figures can already connect with a range of Wii U titles, with the ability to store data and unlock new content. You would expect the upcoming range to be compatible with at least Super Smash Bros., but other titles that can make use of some of the previously-announced figures also include Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors.

The newest range features Rosalina & Luma, Bowser, Lucario, Toon Link, Sheik, and Ike - due to launch in January - and Shulk, Sonic, Mega Man, King Dedede, and Metaknight - scheduled for February.
