The ability to use MyNintendo gold points on the Switch eShop has been labeled as "coming soon" on the associated website for pretty much a year now, but that's all changed with Nintendo announcing that in March you'll be able to use them against titles on your Nintendo Switch.

The points will remain valid for a calendar year, although it's already been pointed out that the value of them is some what contentious; indeed 1 Gold point equating to 1p (in UK money) seems somewhat stingy.

Still, it's better than letting them all expire like me because there's nothing else to spend them on, right?
