NEShow Episode 3 - NX Controller, Zelda memories and Bafomdad Picnic

Jonathan is back with the third instalment of NEShow, this time around looking at recent news, rumours, exploring whether Virtual Reality is the future of gaming and much more!

The big news in this episode is the expansion of the Nintendo Selects range, which saw titles such as New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi UDonkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD added to the range.

Elsewhere we celebrated the fact The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD entered the UK chart at number 2, with Pokkén Tournament entering at number 3 the following week.  Hyrule Warriors Legends' DLC, Kirby's 3D Challenge and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma are all discussed as well, so be sure to check it out.

Turning our attention to rumours, we chat about the Nikkei report that suggested Wii U production will stop this year and of course the NX controller 'leaks' that were indeed proved false.  Still, they gave us plenty to chat about in the Nintendo NX thread which we encourage you to join in!

In the last episode Jonathan asked you what your favourite handheld was and chats about some of the answers.  Be sure to check out the full range of answers as they are worth reading to relive that handheld joy.

Looking at the wider industry and the future of gaming, Jonathan chats about Virtual Reality, hot off the news of the announcement of the PlayStation VR pricing and the first shipments of the Oculus Rift.  Do you think it's the future of gaming?  Reckon Nintendo will get involved with the NX?  Let us know in the thread!

There's an update on the Mario Kart League 2016 and the start of more community events for the recently released Pokkén Tournament as well as the announcement of the winner of the first NEShow Monthly Contest and details about the next one were shown, so be sure to check it out!

Finally, Jonathan discusses your Zelda memories that we previously asked for.  Ranging from being unable to find a sword in Ocarina of Time to the series' epic stories and even wanton theft!  Turns out the highlights of the series are as varied as Hyrule itself.

Be sure to check out the video and let us know what you think on YouTube or in our forum topic!
