An official Pokémon event in Japan has set off speculation on a new Wii U Pokémon game by apparently teasing a brand new project.

At the Pokémon Game Show, an official Pokémon retrospective montage was played for the general public, which showed off clips from both main and spin-off games of Pokémon old and new. The trailer ends on a shot of Lucario and Blaziken facing off with each other, which certainly does not look to be taken from any Pokémon game released or announced up til now.

Could it be a teaser of a new game? Or is it just generic CG not taken from any specific project. Given the high graphical fidelity of the footage, some have speculated whether it could be showing off a new Wii U game.
