It looks like the 25th anniversary of Pokémon is starting to get up to steam, as a new trailer for the upcoming Nintendo Switch game New Pokémon Snap was published yesterday.

In the trailer, we see the new antagonists (boy or girl) travelling through various different regions such as a desert and a tropical forest. These worlds are inhabited by over 200 different Pokémon which you need to photograph. We also get to meet Professor Mirror, who helps you and rates your pictures that you take in the Lental region.

We also have a release date. New Pokémon Snap is releasing on April 30. The game can already be pre-ordered on the Nintendo eShop for GPB49,99/EUR59,99.
