New releases and eShop discounts (week 40)

It's October 1st, so we have oficially set foot in the fourth quarter of what we can only assume is quite a bizarre year for all of us. Luckily games and sales are here to provide us with all the entertainment we need!
After Tetris 99, it's time for another classic title to get the battle royale treatment. This time it is Mario, and as a twist on the original NES title, you can now play competitive against 34 other players in Super Mario Bros. 35. Survive long enough to be the last Mario standing while sending hordes of enemies to your opponents. Super Mario Bros. 35 is available exclusively for subscribers of the Nintendo Switch Online service.
Hi-Rez (known from the free-to-play titles Paladins and Realm Royale) is tackling a new genre. This time they are releasing Rogue Company, a third-person tactical shooter in the vain of Counter-Strike and Valorant. Tactics and communication are as much key to winning as a good aim is.
Publisher Bandai Namco is running a sale on the Switch, so this is your chance to pick up titles from their catalog for a reduced price. Included are Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Katamari Damacy REROLL and Taiko no Tatsujin, just to name a few.
