New releases and eShop discounts (week 51)

The end of the year is approaching, and that means that the new releases slow down to a glacial pace. The reason? If you release a game now chances are it gets snowed under by all the end-of-the-year sales that will definitely happen.
And the Nintendo eShop follows that rule. There are a bunch of new titles available this week, but the spotlight goes to the Festive Offers sale. Over 700 games are discounted until the beginning of January, with discounts up to 80%! What to think of River City Girls, Ori and the Blind Forest or one of the many Final Fantasy titles?
Unfortunately we cannot list all 887 (!) games that are on sale. However you can find the full list over on Nintendo's website, where you can also filter on pricing or genre. What will you pick up? Let us know on the forums if you have any recommendations!
