The retro-themed developers reveal that they have two titles planned for the Wii in addition to Zombie Massacre, plus some online and Uwe Boll talk.
Zombie Massacre was revealed last year as a fun-looking arcade-esque title which could be described as a cross between Crazy Taxi and House of the Dead. Your job is to drive a 1950s convertible carrying a nuke into the middle of a city crawling with thousands of undead beasties, rescuing any survivors you can along the way.
In a recent interview with KonsoliFIN, 1988 Games revealed some more tidbits about their zombie-nuking adventure. According to Ben Krotin, the president of 1988 Games, Zombie Massacre will have an implemented online community and Wi-Fi leaderboards, and the developers are also hoping to incorporate downloadable content into the title.
It was also revealed that in addition to Zombie Massacre, 1988 have two more Wii titles planned which are currently in the design stages.
Interestingly, the conversation moves onto Uwe Boll, who recently purchased the rights to work his magic on a movie version of Zombie Massacre. Due for release in 2010, Mr. Krotin praised the infamous Boll as a genius and 'one of the most genuinely entertaining people I've ever met'. Madness?
Zombie Massacre still doesn't have a release date, but stick with N-Europe for the latest on this madcap shoot/drive/nuke-'em-up.
Thanks to Esa Linna for the heads up!
