News: 25M 1T-SRAM Chips shipped

After only a year since gameucbes release, NEC has shipped 25 million 1T-SRAM Chips. Quite a feat indeed.

The fast single-transistor MoSys 96-Mbit 1T-SRAM in the GameCube hits an impressive milestone today.

Perrin Kaplan, Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Affairs at Nintendo of America commented on the milestone, saying:

"We are very pleased with the successful partnership we have with both NEC and MoSys, allowing us to leverage their technologies to produce a unique gaming experience with Nintendo GameCube for our customers."
