The game The Castle of Shikigami II is set to launch in Japan on October 24th and is a 2D Arcade Shooter, similar to Ikaruga.

The game is the NAOMI arcade board port of the sequel to The Castle of Skikigami. The Castle of Skikigami was released stateside for the PS2 and was called Mobile Light Force II.

The game was due to appear on the Xbox but due to bad sales in Japan, and fans voting for the game to appear on the GameCube, it will be released on the GameCube.

There is no word at present on a Western release.
