News: 3DO Games To Hit GameCube

3DO just sold a few of its assets. Head inside to find out who bought what!

We reported a bit back that 3DO filed for bankruptcy, and it would be selling its franchises. Yesterday, at a bankruptcy auction in San Francisco, a number of them found new homes.

Namco purchased Street Racing Syndicate for 1.5 million, which will be released for the PS2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube. The game is developed by Eutechnyx, and it will be be released in spring 2004.

Microsoft bought High-Heat Baseball for an undisclosed sum.

Last but not least, Might and Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic were sold to Ubi Soft for $1.3 million. The company announced the games will be coming to all 3 systems, including the Nintendo GameCube!
