News: 3DS eShop Not Launching Until May

The 3DS eShop won't be launching until May according to Nintendo.

Contrary to comments from Nintendo UK last week in the recent investors's meeting Iwata has stated that the 3DS eShop will not be launched until May 2011. The shop will become available through a firmware update due to hit all territories around the same time.

The 3DS eShop will allow gamers the chance to view trailers, download demos and even purchase software and Nintendo hopes to make the experience as easy and straight forward as possible. Details of what exactly will be contained remain unclear at present but stay tuned for more news as it breaks.
