It's all about the folders...
The previously announced firmware update for 3DS has been given a date, and as usual it's sooner than you might have expected.
The update will be made available on April 25th. This one will actually do something useful - after downloading the update, you'll be able to sort your 3DS software in the Home menu into manageable folders.
You can put anything you like into folders, and you'll be able to put up to 60 items in each one. You can then name each folder, and the first letter of the name will be visible on the folder icon on the home screen.
The firmware update will also allow publishers to release full patches for their retail games, the first of which (for Europe) will be for Mario Kart 7.
