Looks like Nintendo only just meant it when they called the big 3DS firmware upgrade the "November update"...

The long-expected 3DS firmware update looks set to finally hit at the very end of this month. Nintendo Life is reporting that a recent official UK advert for the new 3DS features cites them as included in the update "available to download from November 30th".

The main feature the update will bring is the ability to record 3D videos with the system's outer cameras. Up to ten minutes of 3D footage can be recorded.

StreetPass features will also be updated, including an all-new StreetPass Quest and new Puzzle Swap jigsaws to complete.

The eShop store will also be seeing improvements, but to the extent to which these changes will be noticeable has not been intimated.
