It appears that mature 3DS titles will be easily identifiable thanks to their black boxes.

Following the release of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles all Wii games that are rated Cero C and higher released in Japan have been packaged in a black box. A recently released box art for Splinter Cell 3D indicates that this feature will be carried over to the 3DS.

There is no word yet whether this policy will be carried over to the West but with growing concern about the ratings of mature titles and ensuring kids do not have access to them it could be an easy way for parents to identify mature titles.
