The latest Media Create charts for Japan are out, and they represented a quiet week for Nintendo platforms, with no major new releases for any of the Big N's systems.
Resident Evil Revelations breezed past the 200,000 mark in its third week, and we're yet to see what kind of long-term legs it will have as sales gradually come down with each chart update. The holy trinity of Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land and Monster Hunter Tri G soldier on imperiously, but the top-end of the software chart was reserved for Sony's handhelds, with a rare appearance of a Vita game at the sharp end of the sales.
The software chart for the week of February 6th to 12th is as follows.

In hardware, 3DS dropped quite a bit from last week, but the release of Tekken 3D and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy tomorrow could bump the numbers up to sufficient levels to push the portable past the five million mark next week. An astonishing milestone to pass in a system's first year, surely. Perhaps the only surprise this week was the drop of Vita in spite of the release of an almost-chart-topping new release.
