A report suggests that the 3DS will launch with "around ten" titles in Japan next month.

According to a report by Inside Games, as translated by Andriasang, the 3DS is expected to launch with approximately ten games. Exact details are expected to be announced at this weekend's Nintendo World event in Japan.

The number may seem low given how many developers are already working on titles, with seventy announced at E3, but apparently they are planning to scatter their releases during February and March. The titles are also expected to be slightly more expensive than the current DS pricing with estimates suggesting an increase of around �1000-2000 depending on the game. This will mean the games are closer to the price of PSP games.
