News: A Boy And His Blob Heading To Wii!

The latest Nintendo Power reveals that the NES classic is coming to Wii! And it looks gorgeous!

Today we get another surprise announcement, straight from Nintendo Power: Way Forward is working on a complete remake of A Boy And His Blob. With masterfully hand drawn levels and characters, even with few images available, the game already looks gorgeous.

In A Boy And His Blob you play as a little boy on a journey to help his blob friend free his world from an evil ruler and to do that you feed a variety of jelly beans to the blob, transforming him in many different objects to help you on your way. Whereas in the original, the blob would just serve as defense and to solve puzzles, here you can use him as a weapon, by turning him into an anvil to drop on your foes for example.

Nintendo Power was kind enough to publish on the web the first two pages of their exclusive, so right now, we don't know much more, but be sure to check out the scan.
