A new point and click game was announced a few months ago for Wii and DS and we have some new screenshots inside...

Daedalic Entertainment revealed in 2007's Game Convention a "a cinematic, interactive eco-thriller" called A New Beginning for Wii, DS and PC. In this point-and-click game, featuring hand drawn graphics and over 30 characters, the player follows the story of the scientist Bent Svensson, who has devoted his life to developing a planet friendly alternate energy source. He is suddenly surprised by a woman named Fay who claims to have come from the future to avoid a global climate cataclysm - the only hope is Svensson's project, which is about to fall into the hands of an energy magnate.

The game is still far away though, with a very unspecific release date of 2009. We leave you with the GC2007 trailer, courtesy of Nintendo Power, and new screenshots.
