Acclaim's new CEO, Rod Cousens, has announced the company is not going to release any new titles for the GameCube in the forseeable future. The current project for the GameCube will still be released: Legends OF Wrestling III (spring 2004), Urban Freestyle Soccer (November 2003) and XGRA (22 August 2003).

Recently we spoke to Nintendo about the fact some developers have decided to lower their attention towards the GameCube. They told us that they are not worried as new developers continue to sign up for GameCube software development. They also believe that most of the titles cancelled for the GameCube weren't really that good in the first place.

Maybe Acclaim will change its mind. Until then we will still have some of their titles to enjoy this year.
