Capcom confirms a sequel to the popular Phoenix Wright spin-off...

In the latest Famitsu, publishing giant Capcom has announced a sequel to last year's Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. The Miles Edgeworth-fronted lawyer-sim, adventure game was widely praised and stood proud alongside the heftier Phoenix Wright sub-series.

The sequel, currently titles simply Gyakuten Kenji 2 in Japan, promises some new gameplay mechanics, returning characters, as well as new cases that cross-over with locations seen in the original. The plot will apparently focus more on Miles Edgeworth's 'human side'. The game has been in development for a year now, and is around 50% complete. No release date has been set as of yet.

Gyakuten Kenji 2 is due to make its public debut at the Tokyo Game Show later this month.
