An official release date for Ace Combat on 3DS has quietly been confirmed...

We're ashamed to say we almost missed Namco Bandai quietly announcing the release date for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy earlier this week, but here's the news. The jet-combat's debut 3DS outing will be heading to Europe on December 2nd.

The publisher has been shockingly quiet about the game, releasing barely a few screens and only providing its debut trailer at last month's Tokyo Game Show. Indeed, this release date confirmation was quite literally a footnote of a press release for the HD Assault Horizon title. The game will release on the same day as Nintendo's Mario Kart 7.
