News: Activision and Marvel

Activision plans on more Marvel games for all consoles, so they extended the liscense!

Activision have announced they have extended their liscense and will now carry on creating various Marvel games such as Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four and Iron Man for another six years. The deal also gives Activision the right to create games based on movies featuring all of the characters.

Activision's President, Ron Doornink spoke of the deal:
"Our association with Marvel has resulted in some of the most critically acclaimed and successful superhero video games ever. This announcement further underscores the strength of our relationship with Marvel and our commitment to the superhero genre and allows us to continue developing exceptional games based on these highly successful franchises well into the future."

Activision is already working on X2: Wolverine's Revenge which will be released with the upcomming movie. Games based on Fantastic Four and Iron Man are also stated to be in the works.
