News: Activision Ogre-es Deal for Shrek 2

Activision have signed an agreement with DreamWorks to develop games based on Shrek 2. I like big butts and I can not lie..

DreamWorks and Activision are teaming up to create and publish the games of the film, Shrek 2. Activision quickly snapped up the rights to the Shrek license after TDK Interactive lost the rights to develop games based on everyone's favourite green ogre. The games will be made for PC, console and handheld formats.

However, the deal is not limited to Shrek 2, Activision and DreamWorks will team up to develop the games of possible sequels after the second. Interesting, Activision own the rights to three other up-and-coming computer animated films in development at DreamWorks- making them the obvious choice for handling the Shrek license. Activision also announced that they have appointed a worldwide president of publishing.
