News: Activision Reveals Trough Of Titles For 2011

The super-publisher announces a wealth of familiar names to bolster its 2011 line-up...

If you just can't get enough of Activision's video games, then 2011 will be a big strain on your wallet.

The publisher has confirmed that next year will see new iterations in several of its key franchises and licences. Call of Duty will make a predictable appearance, expected to take the form of a new Modern Warfare game. The company's musical Hero franchise will keep trucking on, presumably including at least another guitar game.

On the license side, 2011 will also see new Spiderman, X-Men and Transformers games lined up.

Finally, Activision revealed it would have an "exciting new kids' property" that will feature "innovative technology", so look forward to hearing more on that in the coming months.

The publisher very recently released GoldenEye 007 on Wii and DS.
