A 21-year-old German man has been accused of murdering Matthew Pyke, the owner of the Advance Wars fansite Wars Central.

20-year-old British student Matthew Pyke, who was the owner of Advance Wars fansite Wars Central, has been found dead in his Nottingham flat.

Mr. Pyke's body was discovered by his girlfriend Joanna Witton last Friday; he had been stabbed to death. Nottingham Police tracked down a 21-year-old German man named David Heiss following messages posted by him on the internet after the murder. Heiss is believed to have had a dispute with Mr. Pyke on the Wars Central forums, and allegedly flew from Frankfurt to the UK to kill Matthew Pyke. The German police are currently questioning Mr. Heiss before his extradition to the UK.
