The second NES installment in the Eggerland series hits the Virtual Console in this week's update.
Get that Friday feeling (it can be Friday in our minds), the Virtual Console has been updated again. Nintendo have had a root through their archives of retro wonders, and this week they've dug out just one game: Adventures of Lolo 2, developed by HAL Laboratory for the NES.
Originally released in 1991, this week's addition is a sequel to the NES puzzler Adventures of Lolo (which was added to the Virtual Console last August). The game follows the antics of protagonist Lolo, a blue blob who must rescue his partner Lala from the clutches of the evil King of Eggerland by solving puzzles set by the enigma-loving king. The game bears a harder difficulty and more puzzles than its predecessor, as well as the chance to actually battle the king at the end of the game.
Adventures of Lolo 2 is now available on the Virtual Console for 500 Wii Points. Stay tuned to N-Europe for the latest edition of VC Weekly for Sam's verdict on Adventures of Lolo 2.
