The next version of the grandad of modern survival horror games is coming to Wii too, but...

PC, 360 and PS3 aren't the only ones getting Alone in the Dark, as Atari have today announced its forthcoming apocalyptic action blockbuster will launch for the Wii and PS2. Be in no doubt however, Atari are giving the Wii a version based on the PS2's graphical capabilities.

Atari's press release states that the Wii and PS2 versions have been "developed in parallel". So while Wii owners will enjoy extensive Wii-mote and Nunchuck enabled controls, they will also be enjoying last-generation's graphics.

Development duties are being handled by Hydravision, more known for Obscure.
