This Christmas has seen demand for the Wii match that of last year's, with Amazon posting some incredible sales.

Among the best-selling items on Amazon this Christmas were, unsurprisingly, the Wii, and also Super Mario Galaxy. When the company had stock of the Wii available to buy, they were selling at a rate of 17 systems per second.

No word on exactly how many the retailer did have to sell in total, but we're guessing it was more than 17.
