Just a heads up for those of you who have yet to pre-order your Wii.

With the impending Wii launch in Europe, it is no surprise that a vast number of potential owners have decided to pre-order the console, to avoid launch day blues.

Many of you have opted to go with GAME, or Gameplay, and many of you have received confirmation over whether you will be getting a console at launch.

However, not all of you have been successful. Some of you have not been guaranteed a Wii at launch, but there is still a ray of hope! Amazon UK are starting to take pre-orders from 9 a.m, tomorrow morning.

While this may be a casting out a lifeline to some of you out there, we advise you to not be too laid back about this. There are still plenty of people out there who have not pre-ordered the Wii, and they will surely be looking for ways to guarantee them a console at launch. You have been warned!

Update: Amazon opened it's Wii pre-ordering around 9.30am this morning, and it was closed by a little after 9.40. Amid huge traffic and many reports of confused buyers, it seems Amazon's allocation of Wii consoles lasted for not much more than ten minutes. Congratulations to those lucky enough to have secured one, comiserations to those left without.
